Room Assignment Guidelines

While you don't get to choose the building in which you will live as a first-year student, you are able to tell us your preferences for the room type you would prefer to be assigned to.

Do you want a room with a private bathroom? One with a sink? One that is most economical? Or one that has more floor space? Tell us your top three choices (one must be a double room), and we will place you in one of your choices if space is available. The sooner you apply, the more likely you are to get what you want.

Keep in mind that we are also trying to match you with a roommate, the special-interest hall of your choice, and possibly a residential FIG, and thereby you may not get your first choice in room type in order to accommodate your other requests.
